coreyjamesdesign:

Oban 14 yr/old tasting notes
Appearance: Yellow gold
Nose: Sweet, creme, slight malt, sherry influence, slight smoke, vanilla, dry fruit, salt, even dark chocolate and cherry notes
Body: Fairly full bodied
Palate: Reminiscent of the beach (sand + salt in the breeze), sweet sherry influence, dried fruits, smokey vanilla, eventually turns slightly floral.
Palate w/ water: Emphasizes smoke, brings about more dried fruit character along with hints of peat. Sherry notes are restrained.
Finish: Tobacco, Caramel, butter, smokey, dried apricots, red apple and pear lingers afterwards. The finish is fresh but doesn’t last.

When the family rottweiler Belvedere passed away my father bought a 21 yr Oban and we all drank to that awesome dog. Love Oban and that dog :)

Do NOT fuck with this guy.

I caught the last showing of I Saw the Devil at the Nuart tonight. It moves to the Sunset 5 tomorrow where it will show daily at 9:40 PM. It’s a very gruesome revenge movie that pushes the genre to its breaking point. It’s spends so much time in the extreme that it becomes melodramatic and, at times, seemingly-intentional parody. Its moments of levity would be obscene out of context. God help the next Korean filmmaker who puts out another slick revenge film. It feels odd to recommend this movie but I thought it was thrilling. You should see it, provided you understand it can’t be unseen.

I caught this the other night and thought it was great, and supposedly it’s the cut down version hahaha

Magnitude 8.9 - NEAR THE EAST COAST OF HONSHU, JAPAN

That is horrid. A lot of action happening in the ring of fire. Tsunami’s expected.

Seriously it is such an effort for him to get up on this thing, I just don’t have the heart to make him get down.

Adorable!
